Sumatra surf supplies is a new company, started out of necessity.
We are two good mates who have surfed and travelled in Indonesia for the last 3 decades, we have lived here permanently for a combined total of over 30 years and have seen this situation get worse and worse. With the recent policy of wings air and other airlines charging Rp 1,000,000 per board, per leg, we felt that we had to do something and this is the solution.
It's becoming very easy to reach the once secret / remote waves in Indonesia, but at the same time its becoming harder to get your boards there (at least on time, undamaged and without paying extortionate fees)
